About

Who am I?

First, I am a daughter to an Heavenly Father who, despite my flaws, loves me and gives me so much grace.  And, patience.

And, I’m also the daughter of a wonderful man, who after a very brief battle with cancer is now waiting for me in heaven. I miss him lots.

My mom is waiting for me 1800 miles away.  Her name is Val, and she is awesome.  She gets to come live with us!  Good times.

And, hey – someone on the face of this planet actually liked me enough to marry me!  He’s cool.  And, handsome.  And, Polish, but I don’t hold that against him.  Much.

I’ve spawned two awesome girls who are growing up way too fast.

For the past ten years, my official title is wife, and mom.  But, I’ve also been and continue to be a website administrator/designer/manager.

Growing up, I so wished I could live in the Pioneer Days.

Now, I’m trying to create, with my family, a more independent way of life.  Not in a kooky way, just in a easy way.  Because, let’s be honest – I love the internet.  And, my smartphone.  And, indoor plumbing.  But, I also love gardening, our chickens, and anything that has to do with “homesteading” per se.

I talk about a lot of different stuff here – family, modern farm life, my kids, my pollock, gardening, chickens…
