We don’t stop and think about the fact that we are a person- an individual. We are someone who feels emotion, has desires, goals and dreams. The “me” factor gets lost because our lives are caught up in a daily routine of being who we need to be to the people we love and care about. Husband, Wife, Father, Mother, Brother, Sister, Uncle, Aunt, Cousin are a few titles that describe who we are and in what capacity we function. If we are employed we must also include our “job titles”. So, who are we anyway? We celebrated David’s life after he had passed away. My thoughts are turned toward celebrating your personal life and mine while we are still alive. Being married, rearing children, having friendships and working, all require a great deal of ourselves.
