
The weather here is cra-zazy. We have hardly had any winter to speak of, and the last few days we've been breaking high temp records - right now I think it is 78-ish. Since last year was a bust on the garden front, I am more than a little excited about this year's prospects. I'm starting early and getting seeds going inside. Today I got three containers of peppers and tomatoes in. I've never done this before so I am hoping it sticks. I also am incorporating some heirloom varieties to the garden. I planted a Brandywine tomato variety, and I think we will probably go with pumpkin and watermelon heirloom varieties as well. We still have a ways to go before we can put anything in the ground, though. Which is fine because we have crazy amounts of outdoor projects on tap.
